What Lak Door is
An independent Palestinian civic participation platform: referendums, proposals and public accountability. The platform belongs to no faction, party or authority, and users’ contributions do not represent the views of its operators.
The verified account
- One person, one account, one vote — ID verification guarantees this and is used for nothing else.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secret; tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.
- Impersonation, or attempting to create multiple accounts, leads to a permanent ban.
Rules of participation
- Free political and intellectual criticism is guaranteed — it is the heart of the platform.
- Forbidden: hate speech or incitement to violence against people, defamation, publishing anyone’s personal data, or unlawful content.
- Proposals pass an editorial review before public publication, and every proposal you submit has a public tracking number.
- Moderators may hide content that breaks these rules — and every moderation decision is written to an audit log.
Content and ownership
What you publish remains yours. By publishing it here you grant the platform a licence to display it within its work only. Aggregated statistical results (with no individual data) are published openly to serve public debate.
