If you changed your vote while the referendum was open, a new receipt was issued and the old one is void — the last receipt you received is the valid one.
The results ledger — every closed referendum, with its hash
Each record’s hash feeds the next one. Altering an old result breaks every link after it — visible to anyone who recomputes.

“Leaves” = votes that carry a receipt. Referendums closed before the ledger began show zero: their results are protected from change since sealing, but their voters were never issued receipts, so there is no individual inclusion proof. We claim no retroactivity.
